Is being friend with benefits all what its cracked up to be?

You're drunk. Or lonely. Or just plain bored. And you've already got this guy programmed into your phone. So should you try to turn your best buddy into your bed buddy?

To some, it may seem like an ideal relationship, less stressful than an affair, longer lived than a fling or that elusive one-night stand. You can even sit around in your sweats and watch reruns together, feeling like everything is A'ok. The relationships tend to have little romantic passion, but stir the same fears that stalk lovers: namely, that one person will fall harder than the other

Do people still use the terminology ‘friends with benefits? Isn't Fuck Buddy the preffered name for this relationship, I have even heard the terminology "Sneak" And How long can you really honestly be "friends with benefits" or "fuck buddies"

I have had friends with benefits relationships and some turned out fine and some not so well. I had one not long ago last summer which I called him my lil summer friend and it was fine we kicked it did what we did but didn't get feelings envolved. The relationship ended just like it started, fast and quick. There are no hard feelings, I am still to this day coo with this man and we talk all the time, we just don't have that type of relationship anymore. I have also done the FWB with someone where I have caught feelings and it has happend to where the guy caught feelings for me as well. So in my opinion sometimes having a FWB isnt even worth it unless you set the staandards from the gate, and even with that said usually when sex is involved 90% of the time someone is gonna catch feelings.

I would love to hear feed back, what is your take on friends with benefits?

Til next time
xoxo
